Krone, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and distribution of hay and forage equipment, is relocating its North American headquarters and parts distribution operations from Memphis to Olive Branch, Mississippi, investing $1.5 million, and moving 45 jobs to the north Mississippi location. The move is planned to begin by the end of this year.

“As Krone has continued to grow in North America, we realized the need for a larger, specially-built facility to better serve our employee, dealer and customer needs,” says Dietz Lankhorst, president and CEO of Krone North America. "And we knew we wanted to remain in the mid-south region. So, moving just down the road to Olive Branch makes good sense. We look forward to being a good corporate citizen in the north Mississippi area.”

Krone North America will lease a 265,000 square-foot space of a new building that will consolidate their two warehouse operations into one building. This state-of-the-art facility will greatly enhance parts and equipment deliveries, pickup and shipping, and parts inventory management. The new location will also improve access for commercial carriers, dealers and customers, thanks to the completion of the I-269 connector, which offers connections to I-55, I-22, and I-40.

About Krone North America

Krone is a 113-year old, family-owned and operated business based in Spelle, Germany. Our North American division—Krone NA—has been providing customers with premium-quality, Cutting Edge™ hay and forage equipment for more than 46 years, equipment that is German-engineered for North American fields.

Because Krone’s sole focus is on hay and forage equipment, we truly understand our customers. That means when Krone employees set out to design and build equipment, we begin by asking customers exactly what they need. And because Krone is a privately-held company, we answer only to customer needs—not corporate shareholder demands.
